Location 38 2264 South Main Street Ann Arbor, Michigan 48103 Espresso Royale at the Busch’s market center where Main street turns into Ann Arbor Saline Road opened in June of 2003. The store faces west and is adorned with light woods with colorful inlays and Italian touches throughout. At times this store can seem like a student study hall, or a business center or a computer laptop haven. Depending on the time of day and time of year the café is used as anything from a party to a conference center. With all this activity it retains a comfy and relaxed coffeehouse feel. Specialties are the smoothies, pastries and soup. And of course the $2 Latte Wednesday special packs the place. But with the fastest baristas in town the lines move fast. Location 37 2603 Plymouth Road Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105 Espresso Royale on Plymouth road in Ann Arbor opened in July of 2003. The store is the rage and it can be hard to find a table. Free internet and great coffee mix with a warm atmosphere, rich colors and fabrics to give the feel of a coffeehouse theatre. Outdoor seating is popular and the café offers many snacks, pastries, and light lunches. You can’t miss this store located next to Blockbuster video near Plymouth road in The Traver Village Center at Plymouth and Nixon. Location 34 744 West Grand River Brighton, Michigan 48116 744 West Grand River , Brighton Espresso Royale in Brighton opened in October of 2003. It is located in the new Mill Pond Center building on the East side of Grand River on the other side from the fire department. The store features warm rich colors, soft comfortable furniture, and a children’s play corner. The store also has two patios with outdoor seating. Location 40 1101 South University Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104 Espresso Royale at 1101 South university in Ann Arbor opened in September of 2004. Right at the Arched entrance to the UofM diag the store can’t be missed. Outside there are dozens of patio chairs to enjoy the Michigan weather. Inside there are several distinct seating areas to chat, study, people watch, escape or be noticed. Downstairs the colors are warm and cozy. Upstairs the colors are light and airy, the music and bustling sounds of Ann Arbor’s busiest café keep the customers wide awake as they contemplate another day at UofM. The two espresso machines run a steady stream of coffee and moist steam wafts in the air and sends plumes of chocolate aroma out the doors beckoning to the weary and overly quizzed academics. “Latte, Mocha, Cappuccino, come fill your weary soul” Ok, you can’t exactly hear the aroma saying stuff but the rest is pretty much true. This store is the rage with students from three campuses. EMU, Washtenaw Community College and UofM. Shoppers and business people keep the staff at the store busy all morning and then the chairs fill up and the computers turn on. Several comfortable living room arrangements provide for relaxed conversations scattered around the store. Lots of snacks, lunch, soup, and specialty drinks are available each day to make life a little easier on Carpenter Road at Packard.
